Terms of Service

Last updated: May 12, 2026

Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form an agreement between you and Verifyam AI Alarm ("Verifyam", "we", "us", or "our"). They govern your access to and use of the Verifyam mobile app, website, alarms, wake-up missions, AI verification, sleep tools, subscriptions, support services, and related features.

By using Verifyam, creating an account, starting a mission, purchasing Pro, or accessing our website, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

What Verifyam Provides

Verifyam is an AI-powered alarm and morning routine app designed to help users wake up by completing real actions. The service may include:

  • Standard alarms, labels, repeat schedules, sounds, volume, vibration, snooze, and alarm editing.
  • Mission-based alarm dismissal, including math, memory, typing, steps, squats, shake-phone, and barcode or QR missions.
  • AI Verified Facewash Mission, AI Verified Brushing Mission, AI Verified Drink Water Mission, and AI Verified Make Your Bed Mission.
  • Wake-up check, extra loud wakeups, gradually louder alarms, alarm wallpaper, and advanced dismissal flows.
  • Sleep sounds, sleep tracker, bedtime reminders, timer, stopwatch, reports, account features, and app settings.
  • Permission guidance for iOS and Android settings that can affect alarm behavior.

Eligibility and Account Responsibility

  • You must be legally able to agree to these Terms and old enough to use the app under the laws of your region.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your login credentials secure.
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account, including alarms, missions, purchases, and support requests.
  • You must not impersonate another person, create misleading accounts, or use the service for unlawful purposes.

Alarm Reliability and Important Safety Notice

Verifyam is designed to improve wake-up accountability, but no mobile alarm app can guarantee that every alarm will ring in every situation. Mobile alarms can be affected by operating system behavior, notification permissions, exact alarm settings, battery optimization, do-not-disturb settings, silent mode, volume settings, deleted app data, app updates, force quitting, manufacturer restrictions, device storage, network state, hardware problems, and other conditions.

  • You are responsible for setting alarms correctly and checking that permissions and device settings are enabled.
  • For flights, exams, medical appointments, work shifts, religious commitments, legal deadlines, or any critical event, use a backup alarm or another device.
  • Verifyam may provide permission banners, optimization guidance, exact alarm checks, background refresh guidance, and display-over-apps guidance, but the final device configuration remains your responsibility.
  • Verifyam is not responsible for missed events, lost income, penalties, travel issues, academic issues, health consequences, or other losses caused by alarm failure or user configuration.

AI Mission Verification Terms

AI missions are designed to verify a short video of a real wake-up action. Verification may be automatic, probabilistic, and imperfect. You understand and agree that:

  • AI missions may require a live camera recording, typically around 8 seconds.
  • Videos may be uploaded to our backend and AI providers for verification.
  • AI verification may approve or reject based on confidence, visibility, lighting, action quality, framing, and model output.
  • Videos that are fake, old, unclear, unrelated, too dark, too short, or missing the required action may be rejected.
  • You may need to retry a mission, move to brighter light, switch cameras, improve framing, or complete a fallback or punishment mission.
  • AI results are not medical, health, hygiene, safety, or professional advice. They only help determine whether an alarm mission appears complete.

Permissions and Device Settings

Some features require permissions or settings. If you deny, revoke, restrict, or disable a permission, related features may not work.

  • Notifications and alarm access are needed for alarm alerts, reminders, wake-up checks, and scheduled behavior.
  • Android exact alarm, battery optimization, foreground notification, and display-over-app settings may affect reliability.
  • iOS notification permission, background refresh guidance, and platform alarm limitations may affect behavior.
  • Camera access is required for AI video missions and barcode or QR missions.
  • Microphone access may be requested by the operating system if video recording includes audio capture.
  • Motion, activity, or sensors may be used for steps, squats, shake, or movement missions.
  • Media, files, ringtone, or audio picker access may be used for custom alarm sounds and device ringtones.
  • Network access is needed for AI verification, account login, subscription sync, restore purchases, support, and configuration.

Free Features and Pro Features

Verifyam may offer free and paid features. Free features may include standard alarms, alarm labels, repeat schedules, alarm sounds, volume and vibration controls, snooze settings, brain missions, body missions, barcode or QR missions, sleep tools, timer, stopwatch, reports, and profile/account features.

Pro features may include AI video missions, stronger wake-up tools, premium alarm features, extra loud wakeups, wake-up check, advanced dismissal flows, and subscription-backed account sync. Feature availability can change as the product improves.

Subscriptions, Purchases, and Billing

  • Pro access may be sold through App Store or Google Play in-app purchases and managed through RevenueCat-style entitlement systems.
  • Subscription names may include Pro Weekly, Pro Monthly, Pro Yearly, Lifetime Pro, or other plan labels shown in the app.
  • Configured product identifiers may include premium monthly, yearly, regional, and lifetime-style products connected to a Pro entitlement.
  • Prices, taxes, renewal dates, trials, cancellation rules, refunds, and billing issues are handled by Apple App Store or Google Play according to their policies.
  • You can cancel subscriptions through your Apple or Google account settings. Deleting the app or deleting your Verifyam account does not automatically cancel a store subscription.
  • Restore purchases is provided to refresh entitlement status, but it cannot override App Store or Google Play billing decisions.

Acceptable Use

  • Do not use Verifyam to violate laws, harm others, harass, abuse, defraud, or interfere with another person's device or account.
  • Do not upload illegal, harmful, abusive, exploitative, or infringing media or content.
  • Do not attempt to bypass, reverse engineer, scrape, overload, attack, or interfere with our app, backend, AI verification, subscriptions, or security systems.
  • Do not attempt to fake purchases, manipulate entitlements, abuse free trials, or bypass Pro restrictions.
  • Do not use the app while doing activities where distraction could be dangerous, such as driving or operating equipment.

User Content and Mission Media

You are responsible for the videos, labels, support messages, custom sounds, barcode labels, feedback, and other content you provide. You represent that you have the rights needed to submit that content. You grant Verifyam a limited license to process your content only as needed to provide the service, including alarm functionality, AI verification, support, security, and legal compliance.

Intellectual Property

Verifyam, including its app design, website, text, visual style, code, software, trademarks, logos, feature names, and documentation, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or create derivative works from Verifyam except as allowed by law or with our written permission.

Third-Party Services

Verifyam may integrate with Firebase, RevenueCat, Cloudflare Workers, AI model providers such as OpenRouter or Vertex AI fallback paths, Expo/native platform services, Apple App Store, Google Play, and other providers. Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party billing decisions, app store rules, outages, or provider limitations.

Disclaimers

Verifyam is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, always available, compatible with every device, or able to wake every user in every condition. AI verification, reports, sleep tools, timers, and alarm features may contain errors or limitations.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Verifyam and its owners, employees, contractors, providers, and partners will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including missed alarms, missed appointments, lost income, lost data, subscription issues, device issues, or reliance on AI mission results. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Verifyam in the 12 months before the claim, or 100 USD, whichever is greater, unless the law requires otherwise.

Account Deletion and Termination

  • You may stop using Verifyam at any time.
  • You may request account deletion through the app when available or through our Account Deletion page.
  • We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, abuse the service, create risk, or use the app unlawfully.
  • Account deletion does not automatically cancel App Store or Google Play subscriptions.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms when features, providers, laws, or business needs change. The "Last updated" date shows the latest revision. Continued use of Verifyam after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
